Going on a retreat is special.  Taking time out to nourish and heal yourself is so important. We've created the retreat venue we would hope for; comfortable, peaceful, beautiful and well equipped. Take a look at the retreats and teacher trainings we are hosting this coming year. Whether you are interested in Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Nutritional Health and Cookery or Getting Creative we have some wonderful teachers leading inspiring retreats throughout the year.

Meadowside’s Introduction to Ayurveda & Yoga Spring Retreat

Teacher: Molly Crowther of Meadowside Yoga, Reflexology and Ayurveda
Date: Friday April 5th to Sunday April 7th

Join Molly for a weekend of dipping your toes into the world of Ayurveda and lots of lovely Yoga at Cwm Connell.  No experience required to participate in classes of Hatha Yoga, Yin & Restorative Yoga with Yoga Nidra and Yoga Shred in the peaceful Yoga Shala and if the weather allows, in the fields overlooking the sea!  The retreat will be fully catered, including yummy vegetarian food, snacks, drinks, organic wine and fizz.  Enjoy yourselves relaxing in the hot tub, sauna or in front of a roaring fire with great company in a supportive environment.

The Embodied Spirit Discovery Retreat

The Embodied Spirit Discovery Retreat on 22nd to 26th April 2024 is a sanctuary designed for individuals and teams seeking to break free from the daily grind, reconnect with their essence, and find innovative solutions while fostering team unity. Lee Bazalgette and Shanti Faiia bring design thinking and wellbeing together to cultivate an environment ripe for breakthroughs and new pathways to emerge. You will have the opportunity to use design and prototyping tools to understand where you are going and build new narratives. You will be encouraged to step outside of your comfort zone and engage with yoga, breathwork and meditation practices that open and unblock the mind…and you will be nourished and supported with great food, quiet time alone, and beautiful coastal walks. Magic of Yoga Spring Retreat

A one day retreat celebrating the arrival of Spring here at Cwm Connell.  Including Anahata, Hatha and Restorative classes this retreat is suitable for all levels.  Including Vegan snacks and lunch and an optional dinner.  Including optional Bird Song walk with renowned ornithologist Steve Halton.  Reflexology Treatments available.

The Alchemy of the Heart – Anahata Yoga 2 Week Immersion

Teacher:  Bella Berggren & Chris Parkin
Date: 18 May until 31 May 2024

This two week immersion is for anyone who is curious enough to explore their own unique potential. It is for everyone that wants to deepen their path of practice and become their own teacher. This is an incredible opportunity to learn the principles and practices of Anahata Yoga – an ancient tradition from Assam in northern India.  This immersion includes: Anahata Yoga, Kirtan & Mantra, Yoga Therapy, Meditation, Pranayama, Mudras & Bandhas, Yoga Nidra & Yoga Nyasa, principles of Ayurveda, Yogic Philosphy, Anatomy and Kinesiology, Cacao Ceremony, Fire Puja.  Fully catered with wonderful food from Vivienne from Apricus Kitchen.

Summer Rest & Reset Yoga Retreat

A refuge from daily life.  Four days and three nights that will leave you feeling rested and your mind, body & soul re-set and re-energised.  Includes a wide variety of Yoga Classes, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, Sea Kayaking, Guided Wildlife and sketching walks.  Mike of Yoga Massage offers Ayurvedic Yoga Massage.  Fully catered with delicious plant based by Emma of Y-Gegin-Taff.

Unwind Retreats – Ladies Only New Year Retreat

Hosts:  Beth Howes & Ellen Picton
Date: Friday 24th – Monday 27th January, 2025

Retreat, reset and rejuvenate your wellbeing with your hosts Ellen & Beth. Ellen has been a nutritionist for 9 years and will be giving talks, demos and preparing your nutritious meals. Beth is fully trained in classical Pilates and will be putting you through your paces and will look after your exercise programme. Daily coastal walks, relaxing in the Hot Tub and Sauna, enjoying the cosy comfort of the wood burning stoves in every cottage.
