"We love Cwm Connell, it is truly a gem. It is our third visit, and very few other places in the UK compare. Beautiful interiors, super dog friendly, can walk straight down to the beach and coastal walks, sunset views over the ocean and Alex and Emma are exceptional hosts. Being nestled between Newport and Cardigan, both with great food scenes, and behind the Preseli mountains for endless walking you are spoilt for choice each day of activities and places to eat. Can't recommend enough - a peaceful haven in a perfect spot." They have thought about every single detail to make the stay cozy yet functional. The cottage has been renovated recently and the kitchen has got top appliances and all the kitchen tools. Also the shower room is brand new and very stylish but the best part for me was the super king bed: I’ve rarely found such a comfy bed before, not even at a 5-star hotel! I’ve had the best sleeps… And of course the dog friendly part of the stay has been wonderful, my dogs enjoyed it so much and felt at ease. The location is simply stunning with amazing views and fantastic walks and beaches to explore. Last but not least: Emma and Alex were truly welcoming and kind, they made us feel at home away from home, their attention to detail is exceptional. The cleanliness and coziness of the cottages were impeccable, paired with modern appliances in the kitchen as well as a fireplace for the perfectly relaxing evening. Outside of the cottages is where the real magic happens. A sea-view, fully-equiped yoga hall ; a plethora of magical walks to choose from - straight to the sea or along the hilly coast ; tear-inducing sunset views over the water on the horizon ; and the refreshing smell of clean, countryside air in the Welsh lands. All this experienced in mid-march right before spring, I can't even imagine how precious this place must be in the warmer months. The journey to reach Cwm Connell is quickly forgotten once you experience the beauty of what this place has to offer. The cottage is spacious, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need - like home from home! Lots of Welsh goodies on arrival and beautiful Christmas decorations.
