Cwm Connell is dog friendly
We love dogs are they are very welcome in all of our cottages here at Cwm Connell. We are proud Winners of the Pembrokeshire Tourism 2017 & 2018 Best Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages.
From holidays with our own three dogs we have a good understanding of what you and your pets need for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages in Pembrokeshire don’t come better than this.
Dogs in cottages
All our cottages are dog friendly. There is a charge of £25 per dog per stay. Dogs are welcome to sit on the chairs and sofas as long as they are covered with the dog throws provided.
We ask that dogs don’t sleep on beds. If you’d like your dog to sleep on your bed we ask that you bring your own bedding and let us know.
Each of our cottages (apart from The Studio, Ty Cwtch) has an enclosed and gated terrace, ensuring your pet is safe and secure so you can relax and enjoy your time inside and outside your cottage. Dogs are welcome to be home alone, snoozing for a couple of hours if you fancy a meal out or a trip somewhere not so dog friendly.
Because our cottages and grounds have been designed to welcome dogs, we are able to accommodate up to four dogs and sometimes more, depending on which of our cottages you book.

Dogs paddock and dog washing
Walk your dogs in our four acre dog paddock. Fenced and with magnificent views to the South of Cardigan Bay everyone can relax as your dog runs free.
We have a dog washing area outside the laundry along with a plentiful supply of dog towels and even a fantastic dog hair dryer. Our dog wash area is perfect for taking the stress out of those muddy sandy moments.
Activities for you and your dog
We have fantastic woods and beach walks right from our cottage doorsteps; visiting dogs have lots of opportunity to play, run, sniff about, swim and get muddy.

Walking
We love walking both along the coast and inland. With walks too numerous to mention we’ve chosen a few of our favourites close to home and further afield.

Pembrokeshire is, quite rightly, famous for it’s fabulous beaches and many are in easy reach of Cwm Connell.
