Yr Fald Access Statement
Yr Ffald has a double bed and a full size single bed. There is room for a divan and/or cot in the single room or double room. Entrance to the cottage is via a ramp to the wide front door. The door opens inwards, the floor is carpeted. The cottage is all ground floor level. All switches, sockets and door handles in this cottage are positioned halfway up the wall. The front door leads to a hallway.
The open plan living/kitchen area, single bedroom, wetroom and double bedroom all lead from the hallway. Entrance to the living/kitchen area is through an extra wide door. The floor is carpeted. This area is furnished with a dining table + four chairs, side table, tv table, single armchair and small couch. The kitchen area is along one wall and houses cupboards, fridge, dishwasher, sink area and cooker, and countertop.
There is a door leading from the living/kitchen area to the outside decking and two steps down to the courtyard, the decking also leads to a small enclosed patio area to the back of the cottage, this patio area is part gravel, part concrete. Alternative wheelchair access to the courtyard is out the front door and through a gate opposite. Entrance to the single bedroom is through an extra wide sliding door, slides to the left. The floor is carpeted. The area is furnished with a single bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, side table and chair.
Entrance to the wetroom is through an extra wide door. The wetroom has floor and wall tiling and a velux window with under floor heating. The shower has a fold down seat fixed to the wall, there is a support rail also fixed to the wall. The toilet has raised and we can supply a frame which also doubles as a shower seat. There is a sink with taps which can be operated by pushing with the palm of the hand. Entrance to the double bedroom is through an extra wide door opening inwards. The floor is carpeted. This room is furnished with a built in cupboard, side tables, chest of drawers, chair and a double bed .
