Walking in Pembrokeshire
The infamous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is a mere ten minute walk from the door of your cottage.
Or you can catch the Poppit Rocket at the end of our lane, this bus will take you to either Poppit Sands or Newport Sands where you can walk back to the cottages.
If you’re lucky enough you might catch sight of the seals, dolphins, sun fish or even a basking shark! But you are sure to see a plethora of birds.
Paul and our boys have so far walked the path from Poppit Sands to Cwm Connell and enjoyed it immensely even if it did take them 4 hours. I was joined by friends last year and we walked the stretch from Ceibwr to Newport, amazing views followed by a superb pub supper and a sneaky pint. Our other favourite walks include Pengelly Woods, Carn Ingli (the views from the top are amazing) and the Gwaun Valley . We also have a lot of walking information here at the cottages for you to browse through and some ordnance survey maps of local walks which you are welcome to borrow.
