Facilities
In order to ensure that you make the most of your time with us, we have a number of facilities in house that you can use throughout your stay. We aim to ensure that you enjoy your luxury country break so please ask if you need anything extra - we try our best to make your stay with us special.
The Games room – a great location for younger guests to meet up and play pool, table tennis or table football.
The library – our resource centre comes with a payphone and broadband internet access to enable you to keep in touch with the outside world, or better still to research / book your next holiday adventure. We have a comprehensive range of maps and guides, details of local walks and local attractions to make planning your stay even easier. For those moments when you want to simply sit back and relax, the library contains a large selection of DVD’s, puzzles, books and board games.
The laundry – A fully equipped laundry with two washing machines and a tumble dryer. It also serves as a drying room for wet clothes.
Keeping it clean & safe We have hose pipes to wash down muddy boots, sandy kit and muddy / sandy dogs. There is a barn for storing bikes / kayaks. Click here for more details about dogs at Cwm Connell.
Home cooking to provide a break from cooking, after a busy day out and about, we do offer a menu with an emphasis on honest & simple home cooking .... we are confident that you will find something on our menu to tickle your taste buds. This has proved to be very popular so we do ask that you order 24 hours in advance. Click here for the menu.
Why not make your journey down that little more comfortable by taking advantage of the Tesco home delivery service – but please ensure that you give our address along with the cottage name. Sorry, but we cannot sign for Tesco deliveries, you must be here when they arrive.
We have grazing facilities for two or more horses, or stabling available for two horses 5 minutes away if you wish to bring your horse with you. We are situated on a bridleway linking to many other bridleways with stunning views. Call us for more information.
We are always on hand and are happy to offer local advice or make arrangements to ensure that you make the most of your time with us. Last but not least, Madra our friendly border collie is on hand to chase balls from sunrise to sunset, our three cats (Oscar, Jonjee and Felix) provide purr filled stroking sessions and the free ranging chickens and ducks give that rustic farm feeling.
